The Scottish Clay Target Association Ltd. Dress Code The SCTA would like to congratulate all members who have attained places in any of the International Teams. Your Association sincerely hopes that you enjoy representing Scotland at the forth coming International event(s) and as an "Ambassador for your Country and your Association" you are required to ensure that you are dressed in an appropriate manner at all times. We therefore ask you to pay attention to the following information, International Events; 1) Shooting in practice or at the International Event: - You are required to wear a Scottish Shooting Jacket. No sponsor's names or any other badges are permitted anywhere on the jacket, only your name may be embroidered in the appropriate place above the breast pocket. 2) Trousers or a Scottish Kilt can be worn whilst shooting but in the case of the latter, it must be worn with decorum and proper hose and shoes must accompany the outfit. 3) Shirt or jersey with short or long sleeves. (sleeveless items are NOT permitted) 4) Any hats or caps worn must be the normal attire as used by Scottish Team shooters. You are not permitted to wear anything other than a normal shooting hat. 5) Banquet: -It is a requirement for you to attend this occasion, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Further, the dress code for this occasion is strictly stipulated by the SCTA and consists of the following:- Navy blue blazer with SCTA badge, grey trousers, black shoes, white shirt and a "Scottish Team Tie". The same applies to the Ladies but they may opt to wear either a grey skirt or a tartan skirt or kilt providing all are dressed in a similar manner (variances in tartans is acceptable) . 6) Alcohol;- should be moderated. Excessive drunkenness and /or associated rowdy behaviour will not be tolerated. Any incidents of this nature which are reported to your Association will be investigated and dealt with accordingly. If you are in doubt about what should be worn, then you are strongly advised to check with your Team Captain, Manager, Discipline Representative, or any SCTA Management Representative to ascertain what is acceptable.
TEAM MANAGERS AND CAPTAINS. The recurring problem of "Team Photographs" has never been resolved and now each Team Manager and / or Captain is responsible for ensuring that there is someone travelling with the team capable of taking photographs.
