Managers’ Report Sporting Home International 2017

On Thursday 7th September we left home to make our way to Ireland. It was a very wet day and misty crossing from Cairnryan to Belfast, when we docked it was still raining we made our way down to Dublin through rain sunshine and wind, it then took us two hours to get to Carrick Glen shooting ground as the traffic was horrendously busy.

Saturday was sunshine and showers also very windy, the targets were very much affected with the wind and it showed in the scores.

England won with a score of (850) and in 2016 they scored (897)

Our Senior team was  4th (773) one place better than last year 5th (847)

Ladies team was 4th (119) one place down on last year’s 3rd (152)

Junior team was 4th (102) one place down on last year’s  3rd (157)

Vets team was 5th (121) two places down on last year’s 3rd (153)

Super Vets was 4th (129) and stayed the same in 4th place (131)

Scottish H/G was Barrie Sutherland on 86

Scottish Ladies H/G was Edith Barnes on 66

Scottish Junior H/G was Oliver Young on 56

Scottish Vets H/G was Bob Hannam on 63

Scottish Super Vets H/G was Ian Montgomery on 66
